Four Cross-border Railways in China Finally Set to Proceed. 

In February, four cross-border railways in China, heading northward, southward, and westward, made breakthrough progress and are about to start construction. The second phase of the China-Thailand High-Speed Railway has been approved by the Thai government. It is planned to start construction in 2025 and be completed in 2031. By then, there will be a high-speed rail connection directly from Kunming to Bangkok. China and Mongolia signed an agreement on the construction of the Ganqimaodu-Gashuunsukhait Port cross-border railway. The cross-border railway project from Lao Cai to Hanoi and then to Haiphong in Vietnam has been approved by the National Assembly of Vietnam. The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Railway has launched the bidding for its preliminary project.  Screw Terminal Block Connector, Pluggable with Phoenix Plug and FRC Cable are very popular in Thailand. These cross-border railways are crucial channels for China's external connections. Since they were proposed more than a decade ago, they have not made a breakthrough due to various factors. For example, the China-Thailand railway cooperation project has been underway for 10 years, but the first phase is still not completed; discussions on the relevant railway between China and Mongolia have lasted for more than 17 years; and the China-Vietnam railway plan, which was proposed in 2015, has not been implemented either. According to experts' analysis, the breakthrough achieved this year is due to changes in international geopolitics, the increase in China's influence, and the enhancement of economic connectivity with its neighbors. It is a process of quantitative change leading to qualitative change.

Thoughts: The breakthrough progress of these four cross-border railways will further promote the development of China's cross-border railway trade. With the establishment of new transportation hubs, China's foreign trade will embrace a broader space.
